Compatibility with other chassis’

These boots are for BMW E82 / E88 models (1-Series coupe & convertible) from approximately 2008-2013, especially 128i and 135i. They will **not** fit non-1-series parking brake levers or bases without confirming lever style and handbrake ring. Finish/color variants usually match interior leather or trim color; verify with your VIN or inspect your vehicle.

Installation tools needed

• Flathead screwdriver or pry tool (to gently remove retaining ring or trim if applicable)
• Small Phillips screwdriver (if screws are used in your particular handbrake assembly)
• Needle-nose pliers (for clips or small pins that hold the old boot/ring in place)
• Plastic trim removal tools (to protect surrounding plastic or leather trim)
• Clean microfiber cloth & isopropyl alcohol (to clean the mating surfaces before installing new boot)
• Optional: replacement handbrake lever boot ring or clamp if the old one is damaged
